Senior Software Architect/Tech Lead

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect / Tech Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for collaboratively designing, developing and implementing software solutions to solve complex problems and provide technical leadership to our engineering team.

What you will do:

  • Ensure software meets all functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance and coaching to engineers
  • Collaborate with Product, Quality Assurance, Data Science and Customer Success teams to deliver software solutions for our customers and their users
  • Collaborate with engineering team members to determine best practices and requirements for software

Our Tech Stack:

  • PHP (CakePHP advantageous)
  • Node.js / JavaScript (JQuery) / Typescript / ExpressJS
  • Rest API’s
  • SQL  (PostgreSQL advantageous)
  • Docker and docker-compose

What you should have:

  • Experience working on large-scale complex software projects including monolithic and service-based architectures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web applications, cybersecurity and open source technologies
  • Professional experience doing code reviews, addressing technical debt and overseeing plans for improvements
  • 8+ years experience designing and building software applications, relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent demonstrated capability
  • Attention to detail

  • GraphQL
  • Angular / Ionic PWA’s
  • DynamoDB
  • Working in an Agile environment

Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone who not only understands how to code but also has well-developed problem-solving skills and knows how to build a system.

  • Be comfortable with Problem Solving
  • Collaborate with engineering team members to determine best practices and requirements for the software. 
  • Collaborate with Product, Quality Assurance, Data Science and Customer Success teams to deliver software solutions for our customers and their users

Student Program Administrator

About the role

The Program Administrator role is responsible for the execution and quality delivery of Practera Programs, products and client relationships and for identifying growth opportunities. These involve supporting University students or professional learners engaging with industry in digitally enabled programs like team projects, mentoring, accelerators and skills credentialing. This role can be based anywhere in Australia and will support the broader national Practera team in the context of a fast-growing education technology and services company.

Scope of role

Manage the preparation, planning, preparation, delivery and reporting of programs in line

with Practera’s overall processes, systems and calendar to deliver high quality customer and

participant outcomes:

  • Support the coordination of all program execution to high quality standards, including planning, preparing, delivering (e.g. configuration, UAT, program and student support) and data driven reporting to all stakeholders.
  • Execute on customer support, both for Practera’s customers and their authorised users (including learners and mentors)
  • Support learning design projects, customer delivery and continuous improvement.
